Compensation: $40000.00 to $45000.00 yearly
This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be interesting to any detail-oriented individuals hoping to join the ranks of a successful company. Are you looking to take your career to the next level? A dynamic organization with a growing team seeks an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role is a full-time position based in the Guelph, Ontario area.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
- Perform full-cycle A/P
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
- Provide support to internal business partners
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds - 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred - Comprehensive knowledge of bank reconciliations - Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) - Spreadsheet and database capabilities - Diploma in Accounting, Business or similar preferred - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Robert Half Finance & Accounting, the world's leader in specialized financial staffing, provides exciting full-time opportunities in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more.
