Manpower is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable for our Client, a market leader in niche Engineered Mechanical Products located in Scarborough.

What is the job?
* Responsible for full-cycle AP, three-way matching and timely processing and filing invoices
* Prepare journal entries and review transactions necessary to address reconciling items
* Timely complete AP posting for Job Cost and Regular modules in the system according with month end schedule
* Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management
* Ensure invoices are accurately coded, approved, posted and processed within established deadlines
* Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox daily to ensure that all invoices and other vendor communications have been addressed on time
* Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
* Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
* Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
* Process intercompany and allocation entries
* Pays vendors by resolving invoice, purchase order, contract, or payment discrepancies and documentation; requesting stop-payments
* Ensure all check runs, wire transfer payments, and ACH payments are handled timely and smoothly
* Maintain accurate historical records
* Assists, obtain and provide financial information needed for internal and external audits
What you have to offer?
* Full cycle experience (required) 10+ years in a fast paced environment, preferably in the manufacturing /construction industry
* Detail oriented with the ability to process high volume with accuracy
* Manage multiple tasks effectively
* Strong customer service orientation and ability to successfully deal with employee and vendor questions and resolve issues
* Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files/information
* Proficient skills in the MS Office suite (Excel -intermediate level, Word)
