Compensation: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year

Robert Half Finance is looking to fill the position of an Accounting Clerk for a local organization. The responsibilities of this position includes matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). The Accounting Clerk position is a full-time role in the Winnipeg, Manitoba, area.

Your responsibilities in this role: - Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes - Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources - Add financial information to journals and ledgers - Complete other related duties and assist with special projects as needed - Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects - Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance - Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required - Handle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching filing

Job Requirements
