Compensation: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 per year

Robert Half Finance has an exciting position available for an Accounting Clerk for a well respected, growing organization. Candidate will be expected to successfully match invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry and assist in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). You will work with a dynamic team in a great work space/office and have excellent benefits and great career advancement opportunity. This full-time role is for an Accounting Clerk in the Richmond Hill, Ontario, area. Key responsibilities *Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances *Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports *Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes *Post financial information to journals and ledgers *Handle general accounting tasks: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects *Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basis *Assist accounts payable with vendor invoices and disbursement filing and with A/P invoice matching filing *Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed
Job Requirements
*AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred *Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds *Microsoft Excel experience desired *Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required *Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system *2+ years of accounting experience required Please forward resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resume] for consideration.
