Talentcor Calgary is seeking a strong, experienced and motivated Store Manager for our national facilities/ retail client. This is a perfect role for a Junior Manager who has sales and business development experience, is seeking to make his/ her mark as a Store Manager and thrives off meeting targets, multitasking between sales, customer service and administrative duties, leading/ motivating a small team and networking within the community.

The Store Manager must possess:

  • Excellent leadership, team building and community networking skills
  • Ability to inspire, coach and support their team
  • Work closely with the Assistant Store Manager to perform the day-to-day business operation, including maximizing revenues and retail sales, minimizing delinquencies, ensuring exceptional customer service, growing referral business within Calgary and maintaining a clean, well-maintained and professional looking facility
  • Grow the building’s revenues and occupancy
  • Implement strong sales processes and to keep abreast of the competitive marketplace to pro-actively manage standard rates and revenues
  • Collaborate with the head office sales and marketing team and other Calgary store teams in areas such as marketing, leasing and business development
  • 2+ years experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager with PROVEN sales experience reaching and exceeding targets, networking and successfully engaging in business development

The ideal candidate is:

  • Very sales-focused
  • Possesses excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • A solid background in hospitality, retail, sales and/ or property management is a HUGE asset
  • The candidate must have strong management and communication skills along with passion to grow and develop the business
  • Comfortability working with computers and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarization with accounts receivable and collections
  • Knowledge and experience with basic building maintenance and operations is very desirable
  • Strong people skills is of utmost importance

Excellent salary, bonus structure and compensation package is included.

This is a full time, five day a week position. Work days are typically four weekdays and one weekend day with some scheduling flexibility.
