Design Group Vancouver is recruiting for Senior Project Manager - Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and successful Environmental Consulting firm and be part of an energetic and innovative team  Position overview: As a Senior Project Manager our client is offering this fantastic opportunity to join their BC team. The expectation is that the successful candidate will provide high-quality site assessments and remediation services to industrial, commercial and municipal clients throughout the region. The overview will also encompass working directly with a diverse and tremendously talented pool of scientists in the Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation (EDR) division. Responsibilities: As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Developing relationships with clients and regulatory agencies. • Procure and manage the scope, schedule, and budgets, and deliver projects on time. • Direct the team and lead on assessments and remediation efforts. • Develop and coordinate technical staff, and monitor project performance. What you bring to the role: The Senior Project Manager is required to motivate senior professional with an entrepreneurial ethos. You will have proven experience with commercial and industrial clients, and be passionate about becoming part of a well-respected, rapidly growing company. This role requires the expertise of a dedicated professional who is willing and able to manage interesting projects, develop their leadership skills, while enjoying a friendly, collaborative work environment. You will already have: • A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering • Minimum 5+ years’ related experience ideally in project management. • Strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrating a good level of technical expertise. • Professional Designation preferred (P. Eng., P. Geo., P. Ag., R.P. Bio, EP) • Experience of Business development initiatives and client relationship development. • Experience in stage 1, 2 PSI, DSI, and remediation of contaminated sites.
