Classification: Financial Analyst - Manager

Compensation: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year

We are working with a fast growing diversified real estate business that is in need of Finance Leadership. They have an established track record of success internationally and are looking to mirror that in the Vancouver Market. The responsibilities for the role are inclusive of; -Responsible for providing overall finance organization leadership for both corporate and associated companies -Lead and mentor the accounting team to proactively deliver timely and accurate financial analysis, accounting, financial, tax and reporting -Support the President in strategic and operational planning, ensuring responsibility, measure and milestone are clearly identified and tracked on an ongoing basis -Oversee the internal control process, make sure that effective internal controls are in place, compliance with Canadian GAAP and all other federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting -Ensure that all filing deadlines are met, and all reporting requirements are fulfilled -Coordinate the preparation of annual tax filings and be the point person for all year-end audits and tax returns -Review all financial statements and reports of the companies and responsible for the quality of financial statements and reports -Prepare annual forecasts and operational reports -Verify, review, and analyze property and entity-level general ledgers on both cash and accrual basis ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies -Interact with other accounting team members to ensure prompt resolution of issues and achieve maximum efficiency of operations -Work closely with other functional areas within the company
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in business administration or higher -Has CPA designation -At least 5 years? experience in financial management role in real estate industry -Exempt Market Deal experience is a plus -Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles -Ability to maintain data integrity and accuracy and use data to identify and solve problems -Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks -Comprehensive understanding of internal controls -Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-player mentality -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin preferred If you are interested in this role please contact Sean Mayzes at [Click Here to Email Your Resume] quoting job number 05060-0010850191.
