Compensation: $28.41 to $32.12 per hour

A large reputable organization in downtown Vancouver is looking for an experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist for an ongoing contract. This role will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global HR Operations. This role is perfect for someone who loves to be hands on in a high growth and busy environment. This role supports all activities related to cost analysis forecasting, job evaluation, base pay management, and headcount budgeting. Responsibilities: ?Responsible for the administration, support and delivery of global compensation programs processes. ?Contribute to program design, philosophy, strategy, analytics, policy communications for compensation programs and processes. ?Evaluate the competitiveness of the compensation plans by compiling and analyzing statistical data from internal and external market sources. Formulate recommendations presentations for review. ?Create complex spreadsheet models for financial analyses to determine the impact of program design changes or new program proposals. ?Manage the annual compensation review cycle via Workday. ?Support the annual benefits renewal processes globally. ?Conduct job evaluations and ensure the integrity of the pay structure. ?Further our compensation knowledge and proficiency by developing leading HR Manager training. ?Support our headcount budgeting process ongoing maintenance / analysis in partnership with our finance team. ?Responsible for completion of salary survey information. ?Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Job Requirements
Requirements: ? 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 in compensation and benefits ?Bachelor's degree in Commerce, HR or related field. ?Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory; CCP designation an asset ?Advanced Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis. ?Critical thinking and relationship building skills. ?Timely, effective and service oriented. ?Ability to prioritize work requests. ?Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. ?Experience with Workday an asset. ?Self-starter with the ability to resolve complex issues and problems; able to work with little supervision. ?Solid writing, communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
