Commercial Property Manager
Talentcor Professional is recruiting for a Commercial Property Manager to join a well-established real estate investment firm in downtown Vancouver. In this role you will be required to work within a team environment, managing an Assistant Property Manager, and Property Administrator; and reporting to the General Manager. You will be able to show off your strong interpersonal communication skills, ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of a bustling downtown Vancouver high-rise, and make decisions as it pertains to first-class property management.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for:
  • Customer service excellence; respond to and address daily tenant & guest inquiries; be involved in industry associations, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, tenants, and employees; conduct regular property inspections; coordinate/communicate tenant changes/updates and any other construction projects or property updates.
  • Mentor direct reports and ensure all staff have growth plans; Facilitate and champion the property level employee engagement program to ensure consistent brand experience; act as the liaison between property departments to ensure clear and consistent flow of communication.
  • Property administration; over see admin team to ensure accurate and timely tenant documentation, billings and collection of receivables; respond to all escalated legal and receivable issues; ensure timely distribution of annual and year-end billings; approval of Signed Deal Memorandums (SDM), Lease Profiles, License Agreements;
  • Oversee of leasing budgets and forecasts;
  • Review and approval of monthly JDE audit report, and all new lease profiles for tenant files;
  • Review and 1st approval of lease related payments
  • Review and approval of annual tenant billings, prior-year tenant adjustments, month-over-month billing changes;
  • Oversee parking operations;
  • Reporting; provide guidance to all aspects of multi-year budget preparation and regular forecasting; collaborate with Leasing to provide information regarding market share, leasing projections, and category analysis; coordinate monthly reports and assist GM during quarterly updates; lead the preparation of all weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to co-ownership, as required;
  • Analyze other critical data;
  • Support execution of Asset Management plans.
To succeed and qualify for this position:
  • Post-secondary education focused in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related discipline and/or working towards completion of an industry designation (RPA, FMA);
  • Rental Property Management license;
  • 3 years’ experience in related property management field;
  • 2 years’ experience in people management;
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office with strong working knowledge of Excel;
  • Strong ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment, and work well under pressure;
  • Have an analytical mindset;
  • Are an excellent, interpersonal leader with clear verbal and written communication, project management, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
