Classification: Technical Writer

Compensation: $19.79 to $25.00 hourly

The Creative Group is looking for a technical writer to join our client's team based out of Delta, BC. This is a short-term contract. The Technical Writer is responsible for creating and maintaining all product related literature, information and documentation.

Your Responsibilities:

- Write, format, update and maintain all company Instruction Manuals, Installation sheets literature and documentation, documenting, recording and tracking all changes

- Manipulate engineering product drawings, create illustration diagrams for inclusion into manuals & instruction sheets to properly depict & describe each procedure or process

- Maintaining professionalism and acting in a manner consistent with principles

- Follow all organizational Health & Safety programs; actively participate in Health & Safety training with the purpose of gaining knowledge and understanding

- Contribute to a positive work environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of technical writing work experience

- Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and a team player

- Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal

- Post-Secondary education, Technical training in computer systems, and software
Experience
Experience in an engineering, production and/or hearth industry environment an asset
