On behalf of our client in the Healthcare industry, Procom Consultants Group is currently searching for a Senior Healthcare Change Management Lead. 

Senior Healthcare Change Management Lead Job Description:

The FHA FESR project requires a Change Management and Communications Lead to develop and implement a plan for the transition of medical staff from traditional telephone dictation practices to FESR.  The consultant will collaborate with respective stakeholders to develop a framework for transition to FESR and provider documentation. 

Responsibilities shall include (but are not limited to):

  • Physician Adoption
    • Supports the sites as needed on communications, engagement, training and metrics to monitor and increase FESR adoption
    • Develops Fluency Flex adoption and training curriculum, and associated processes
    • Liaises with Medical Staff for documentation learning and adoption, inform training curriculum and ensure FESR training is integrated in the most effective and efficient way
    • Facilitates provider engagement working groups
  • Education
    • Establishes training curriculum – reviews current model and makes suggestions for further improvement
    • Works with education specialist on strategizing training curriculum and training processes
    • Works closely with the operations team and project educators on coordinating training schedules/room bookings/etc
  • Change management and Communications
    • Integral in drafting the change management and communications plan with PM
    • Drafts stakeholder and project team communications
    • Identifies risks/issues in advance of deployment
    • Serves as primary liaison and site change management and communications personnel to develop integrated change management and communicates activities

Senior Healthcare Change Management Lead Mandatory Skills: 

Education, Training and Experience

  • Completion of a university degree plus at least 4 years’ experience in organizational change management, training and communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Change management methodology training and application (experience with Prosci method particularly is an asset).
  • Experience with clinician communications, engagement and change management is highly preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to develop and build effective working relationships with clinicians (physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives, and allied health), communications representatives, and other project stakeholders within the Lower Mainland health organizations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer applications including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication skills including written, verbal, critical and strategic.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to deal with others at all organizational levels as well as external contacts.
