We are working with one of Canada’s longest standing contractors in the Lower Mainland, to find an Electrical Estimator (Project Manager) to join their successful team. From residential projects to those on the heavy industrial side, this role offers a well-diversified portfolio with an organization who have a great future ahead of them.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for completing independent estimates for a variety of electrical disciplines up to and including 10 million dollars. As there are a number of projects on the go, this role requires someone who is able to juggle priorities on the project management side of things, whilst navigating any project scope changes that come along. Reporting into the Chief Estimator, you’ll be managing the fiscal outcome of the project, from start to close out and everything in between. Leading by example, the Project Manager/Estimator promotes a “safety-first” mindset in the workplace and fosters a culture of learning and on-going development for all team members.  

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in the electrical estimating and the project management field
  • Sound experience in all areas of electrical trades
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems and the implementation of Safe Work Practices
  • Previous experience using Timberline PJ or AccuBid is an asset, but not essential
