Compensation: $45000.00 to $60000.00 yearly

This Accounting Clerk position has top-notch benefits, a nice work space/office, and a thriving team culture. You're a good fit for this Accounting Clerk position with a well-known, successful Service organization if you can take responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assist in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Your responsibilities in this role

- Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed

- Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and helping with collection of past due balances

- Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources

- Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned

- Assist with general accounting tasks, including G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects

- Post financial information to journals and ledgers

- Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

- File vendor invoices and disbursements and match & file A/P invoices to support accounts payable
Job Requirements
- Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system

- Microsoft Excel experience

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

- Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
