Warehouse Supervisor
 
Our client is looking for a warehouse Supervisor who has exceptional leadership skills, someone who can add value to their company and make a difference. They also need someone who is flexible on working various shift as well as extended hours as needed.
 Salary – 50k
 Responsibilities:
  • Reports to General Manager
  • Inventory Management – ordering/maintain inventory levels/product distribution & turnover/maintain inventory management system/recommendations to streamline operations and improve process
  • Coordinating inventory slotting activities to drive inventory accuracy for warehouse picking/loading efficiency
  • Ensure quality, cleanliness, customer service & company policies as well as programs are maintained
  • Execute shipments, create warehouse tasks and orders, assess product availability for orders and update orders as required
  • Provide operational performance & delivery information to the General Manager
  • Ensure workforce resources are available for operational delivery and proposed additions/reductions
  • Manage warehouse associates in accordance to company policies, procedures to deliver operational & work environment objectives including communication, safety, training, performance management, work assignment, attendance management, competency assessment, coaching and discipline
  • Ensure warehouse employees are properly trained in Health & Safety/Food Safety policies & procedures along with the duties and responsibilities for their role
 Required Skills:
  • Leadership- Manpower planning
  • Warehousing Principles-Warehouse Layout
  • Experience in Warehouse/Distribution environments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working with computerized Picking/Inventory systems
  • Strong Analytical & Communication
  • Applies Best practices and seeks out opportunities to improve processes
  • Capacity for handling stress
  • Able to work various shifts with extended work hours when required
  • Certified Forklift Operator
