Our client in manufacturing industry is looking to hire a full-time Administrative Assistant to join their team in Surrey. This is a permanent placement and the client will provide the necessary training.

POSITION OVERVIEW


This is a technical engine inside sales job. Quoting, phone work (30 calls on average day but can fluctuate), emails (10 emails on average day), purchasing, service walk-in customers (3-5 customers on an average day). There would be some walking around the warehouse to ensure orders are packaged and shipped in time. Also will occasionally be checking availability of inventory. Purchasing of engine parts to fulfill orders as well. Things are usually JIT right now, but they are looking to get away from that and have readily available inventory to service customer's immediate needs.
Ratio of tasks: 70% phone work and quote generation (concurrently generating quotes while they're on the phone), 20% emails, 10% service walk-in customers
