Compensation: $45000.00 to $55000.00 yearly

Our client, in Ottawa East, is actively looking for an Office Manager to join their team. The successful candidate is an ambitious, organized and accountable individual who enjoys working in a team environment.

Key responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Manage and coordinate calendars, arrange appointments, interviews and meetings
* Maintenance and management of the office filing, scanning and destruction of documents
* Prepare and update office materials, documents and correspondence
* Office management – maintenance of office equipment, ordering office supplies, general upkeep of office equipment and furniture. Point of contact for landlord, and office cleaners.
* Answer a multi-line telephone, voicemail retrieval and message distribution
* Process incoming and outgoing mail
* Event support, including coordination of external events, minuting meetings, preparing materials, reserving room/venues, etc.
* Payroll, Human Resource and Accounts Payable tasks in support of the Administration Manager

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in a similar role
* Experience managing calendars
* High level of Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
* Disciplined work ethic, self-motivated
* An understanding of Payroll, Accounts Payable and Human Resources tasks
* Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders
* Collaborative, enjoys working in a team environment
* Embraces diversity in the workplace
* Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
