We are seeking an organized, reliable Logistics Administrator with precise attention to detail to join our fast growing organization. In this position, the Logistics Administrator provides support to the Sr. Logistics Coordinator and Traders at the Sales Office. Motivated Logistics Administrator also serves as the front line for phones and for communicating with the Corporate Office. The Logistics Administrator will help manage purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting, and customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities of Logistics Administrator:
*First line for answering all phones
*Generate and update monthly sales reports and forecasts of sales using Excel on a daily basis
*Order, track and report inventory and deliveries
*Create and maintain Purchase, Sales and Freight Booking Confirmations
*Order office supplies/groceries
*Creation of Import / Export documents and Declaration Forms
*Respond to shipping complaints, lost items and damages
*Coordinate all shipments for all locations
*Document invoices and payment postings
*Track shipment details
*Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes
*Enter expenses on the expense report (monthly)
*Prepare Fedex waybills
*Prepare mailing labels
*Assist on quotes for road and ocean carriers (when needed)
*Create and update the claims files
*Print the market report daily
*Record and maintain USD / CAD exchange rate sheet for all purchases and sales

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience of Logistics Administrator:

*Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
*Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business or related field
*1-3 years of previous experience and experience in admin or assistant experience
*Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
*Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task and prioritize work
*Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
