OfficeTeam is looking for a responsible, enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Great opportunity to start working in highly-regarded organization! In this role, you will perform administrative and office support duties for multiple supervisors. Responsibilities will also include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, filing and faxing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of Administrative Assistant:
*Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
*Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
*Answer phones in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate persons or take detailed messages
*Manage communication of information in and out of the office; type out correspondence letters, emails, memos, etc. (paper and electronic); prepare outgoing mail and packages for executives
*Monitor and maintain office equipment; repair or replace malfunctioning equipment and hire technicians when required
*Monitor office supplies; order and re-stock as needed
*Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
*Maintain positive and professional staff and client relationships; welcome and greet clients and office guests
*Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
*Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc
*Ensure office is kept clean and organized at all times

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience of Administrative Assistant:
*High school diploma or GED equivalent required
*1-3 years of administrative/office administration experience
*Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
*Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Fast, proficient, and accurate typist
*Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other administrative programs
*Self-starter who works well independently
*Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them
*Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
*Professional demeanor
