Compensation: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly

Office Team is proactively seeking experienced and motivated Human Resources Coordinators to contribute to their client’s influential companies. Responsibilities will include handling a variety of administrative tasks and support to the HR department and employees regarding HR related activities, policies, processes, and procedures.

Major responsibilities:
• Recruit and pre-screen potential candidates
• Organize new employee on-boarding orientation methods
• Manage employee database records
• Advise with best practices and HR policies
• Coordinate and facilitate new protocol and procedures to staff
• Assist with Benefits and pensions administration
• Working with Union and non-Union employees

Job Requirements

What we are looking for:
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
• Approachable and appropriate behavior when interacting with personnel at all levels in a quickly changing environment
• Practical knowledge of policies & procedures
• Deep understanding of change management
• Background working with fast paced sourcing recruitment
• General familiarity with pensions/benefits
• Experience working within a Union
• Employee relations experience highly desired- Benefits coordination experience preferred- Good understanding of strategic planning-Adeptness in HR (Human Resources)
• Workforce analysis experience highly valued
• Capable in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Have post-secondary or post-graduate education in human resources.
