Our client, a well-established real estate company located in the heart of downtown Toronto, has an immediate opening for an FP&A and Finance Manager. Seeking an experienced Financial leader to be the internal connector between the Development Acquisitions department and the accounting team.

The responsibilities in this position are broken down into two main areas:

The first is to serve as the critical liaison between acquisition, development, asset management, corporate finance and external financial institutions and partners overseeing investment analysis, cash flow management and funding strategies.

The second will be a FP&A and reporting function where the successful candidate will analyze results and prepare internal reporting for senior management, but also oversee other reports that derive from the Finance area. Located in Downtown Toronto, the main duties for this role will include the following:

* Oversee equity distribution schedules.
* Prepare timely equity and debt position reports.
* Develop capital structures and cost evaluations.
* Maintain strong liaisons with financial institutions and stakeholders.
* Responsible for maintaining GIC and treasury functions.
* Manage projects and perform other ad hoc procedures as per request.
* Attain projected financial results by monitoring and driving P&L.

Job Requirements

* 5 or more years of experience performing similar FP&A and finance duties.
* CPA Designated and Degree in finance or accounting is a must.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
