Job Description:

The Account Coordinator (AC) collaborates with Account Executives, GBU and COE team on the development and execution of all content within all the marketing tactics.  The ideal AC must be in-bedded within the GBU teams.  They must thrive in a high energy, fast-paced environment, have exceptional organizational skills, have a proactive attitude, excellent people skills and a sincere interest in the GBU brands, strong understanding of the NPD toy super- categories (i.e. Preschool , Activities) and overall  business. The AC is primarily responsible for ensuring that the Big Idea/Content (i.e. threadline) matches the approved GBU objectives, meets all COE tactic deadlines.


PROJECT COORDINATION:

  • Supports Account Team in daily deliverables, activities, budgets, and deadlines for COE and GBU meetings.
  • May coordinate or participate in any phase of the IMP cycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation.
  • Ensures orderly, productive meetings and timely completion of project work.
  • Coordinates with production team (non-working) and (working) total IMP annual budgets.
  • Facilitates all administrative duties including: weekly status reports, project documentation including conference reports within 24 hours of a meeting
  • Coordinates and executes internal meetings, partner and COE /GBU (i.e. brief kickoffs, brand immersions, weekly meetings, project post mortem), etc.
  • Manages small projects as assigned
  • Adheres to the stated IMP process, approval cadence and GBU business rhythm

 GBU/Brand PARTNERSHIP: 

  • Strengthens Brand relationships though support of the Account Team
  • Gaining familiarity with the toy industry, products, business culture and competition
  • Has base understanding of advertising, digital, and media industry trends/developments and uses this knowledge to present business building ideas for the client and the agency
  • Supports Account team with metrics and program performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness and to integrate into future initiatives
  • When possible, represents AC at industry events and toyfair to better understand the products, retailer comments and overall brands challenges

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university (preferably in marketing, advertising or related field)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Results oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, reliably and great energy
  • Knowledge of marketing program development and implementation
  • Knowledge of marketing communications or integrated marketing
  • Emphasis on digital experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
