Robert Half Finance is seeking an ambitious, experienced Accounting Manager for an immediate opening at a dynamic, progressive company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties for vendors, including collections, rebates, allowances, and discounts. Preferably, you should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Key responsibilities

- Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

- Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountants

- Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

- Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials

- Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines

- Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

- Work alongside FP&A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

Job Requirements

- Proven technical skills

- Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

- Comprehensive knowledge of Reconcile Vendor Statements

- Rebate experience preferred

- Vendor Agreements experience required

- Strong familiarity with financial reporting

- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

- 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

- CPA required
