A company has partnered with Robert Half Finance and Accounting to find their next Payroll Administrator. Communication-oriented professionals who are able of working in a deadline-driven environment while exceeding internal customer service expectations, may be a great fit for this role. In this Payroll Administrator role, you will manage the production of accurate and timely payroll for employees. You'll want to apply for this fantastic opportunity as soon as you can! This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Mississauga, Ontario area.

Major responsibilities

* Administer voluntary deductions, as well as wage garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner, including reporting to the necessary authorities
* Comply with current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data
* Manage data entered by others in the payroll software
* Supervise quarterly and year-end payroll reports
* Reassure timely processing of payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles
* Do business with internal business partners, Human Resources, and Information Technology to ensure security protocols for pay systems
* Examine payroll areas, fringe benefit reporting, and pay practices related to FLSA to determine how those practices apply to advise management

Job Requirements

About You –

* 3 or more years of related payroll experience
* Experience with benefits
* Excellent communication skills
