SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER –

LARGESCALE INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL PROJECTS


Great new role working for an Award-winning architect in the GTA area. 

Client is looking to bring aboard a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER with at least 7 years project experience. Typically, this role will be focused on working with greenfield construction development for low-rise industrial/commercial projects with budgets ranging from $15M to $50M.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling 5 – 10 such projects at one time.



SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Over 7 years PM experience leading and working with large greenfield industrial/commercial projects
  • Strong hands-on skills focused on working with final clients and their teams as well as internal groups moving projects forward meeting project milestones/deadlines
  • Exceptional knowledge of the project process including project budgets and change order management
  • Be able to provide design alternatives and suggestions – value engineering
  • Comprehensive understanding of Ontario Building Code
  • Coordinate municipal approval during the design development stage while providing updates to related teams
  • Robust time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills – oral and written
  • Must have passion for the architectural sector

This is a full-time permanent role.  Compensation is based on experience and skill set.  Salary, vehicle compensation, bonus program, holidays, benefits and support for professional development. 

Location of the office is in the GTA however, in this role, you will be required to travel to visit project sites as well as off-site meetings with clients, suppliers/vendors, etc.
