IT Project Manager
Job Description
Manage all aspects of a typical customized software implementation project including: managing project scope, budget, deliverables and day-to-day operations; create a project charter; integrated project planning; resource planning; change management; issues prioritization; risk analysis and management; quality assurance; ensuring timelines are met; updating project documentation; collaboration and communications with the team, with the CFI internal stakeholders, and external suppliers and stakeholders; and status reporting to the Executive Sponsor and the Information Services Steering Committee (ISSC).
2. Conduct regular project team meetings to review project status, monitor progress, collect relevant information, identify issues which may impede progress and ensure appropriate plans are implemented to mitigate any risks to the project.
3. Prepare regular project status reports and all relevant background materials to support needs assessment and solutions.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to the CFI project team members.
5. Assist with the development and delivery of change management and communication strategies to ensure smooth implementation.
6. Ensure the smooth transition from the existing CAMS system to the new system (CUBE), and ensure the completeness and correctness of data migration from the existing system to the new system
Skill set info
Minimum of 5 years of project management with a background in IT systems development
Experience with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies and products
The experience should be in the management of IT software development and implementation projects. This project is expected to develop new
software based on the Microsoft Dynamics / Power Platform technologies, with desired adoption of any off-the-shelf components or accelerators that may be determined as meeting requirements.

Work Hours
The Project Manager is required to work physically at the CFI offices at 55 Metcalfe St,
Ottawa in accordance with the CFI's hybrid work policy which currently requires a minimum of
2 days per week.
