Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced, organized Senior Accountant to join their team for a permanent opportunity in the Hannon, Ontario area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact

- Complete month end reporting package.

- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

- Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

- Participate in various department-wide initiatives

- Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
