Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

  • Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent
  • Work Location: 12424 Dixie Road Caledon ON
  • Workdays: Sunday to Thursday
  • Shift Start: 12pm-5pm. Shift averages 3-5 hours a day. Start times/finish times may vary with operational need.  Flexibility required.
  • Pay rate: Pay rate of $17.80/hr. (base rate of $16.65/hr. + an hourly bonus of $1.15).


Responsibilities:

  • Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
  • Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Ability to read and memorize postal codes.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
  • Warehouse experience - Preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay rate of $17.80/hr. (base rate of $16.65/hr. + an hourly bonus of $1.15).
  • Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement (top rate: $28.39/hr. after 48 months).
  • Tuition reimbursement of up to $3,000 per semester.
  • Health and dental benefits after 12 months of employment (commences on the first day of the month after meeting the requirement).
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation after one year of service.
