Business Consultant

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Consultant.

Business Consultant – Job Description

  • Responsible for BCP and BIA updates across all of CM globally and all of Europe/UK
  • Interact directly with LOBs, including senior executives, to gather information for document updates and approvals
  • Develop efficient, streamlined processes for information gathering and executive signoffs on documentation
  • Partner effectively with GCCM to aid in QA review process completion
  • Manage call tree notification system updates
  • Responsible for transformation from current to future state BIAs and BCPs, aligned with GCCM directives and system changes
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and process improvements by analyzing data; automate and streamline processes and controls in support of creating capacity for further innovation across the team
  • 18-24-month rotation between other CCM roles, accountable for: a. All CM Business Continuity Plan testing, including D/R, notification system management, life and safety, and 3rd party/vendor testing b. All CM event management, including scenario planning, tabletop exercises, and response protocols
  • Plan and execute short and long-term initiatives and ad hoc deliverables within given timelines
  • Methodically solve problems across a continuum that ranges from simple day-to-day issues to highly complex business, technical or regulatory issues. 11. Documenting new or existing processes and improving existing processes by leveraging data
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) at all levels of the organization, including the most senior executives, including drafting communications and running calls and meetings
  • Building positive relationships within GM, I&CB and OCOO and across Corporate Support Areas in order to garner support, advice and partnership that enables execution of the role
  • Ongoing self-study about GM, Capital Markets, emerging regulatory and industry issues, business priorities, and best practices
