Product Manager - ECommerce

Grainger Canada Thornhill, Ontario Full-Time

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the eCommerce team responsible for developing and implementing new and enhanced online features and capabilities. This role manages all stages of the product lifecycle including creating requirements, executing with the development team, and introduction of online features and enhancements to grow Grainger Canada's online presence. The Product Manager leads research and market analysis to identify new opportunities to enhance the user experience and grow online sales and increase adoption. This individual reports directly to the Senior Product Manager.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Define, develop, and deliver Grainger Canada's online useability capabilities. Your goals will include:

  • Review feedback, utilize session replays, and work with analytics to identify areas of improvement to the online user experience.
  • Drive the user experience roadmap by assessing opportunities and pain points.
  • Lead product lifecycle capabilities from writing detailed product requirements, creating low level wireframes, partnering with the sprint team through execution.
  • Coordinate and communicate launch activities across all partners and be the authority and advocate for your given area of focus.
  • Achieve customer value in an iterative schedule of releases. Manage schedules, mitigate risks, escalate issues, and balance tradeoffs.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with peers and leaders
  • Conduct demos and develop supporting materials for partners. Organize and develop content for meetings with the appropriate message for each audience.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • BS/BA degree in engineering, science, math, design, or related field.
  • MBA or equivalent a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in product management or related field. The experience must include conducting data analysis, working with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to provide digital products or services.
  • Experience designing solutions to create advantage.
  • Experience managing products through entire life cycle - from creation to launch.
  • Continuous improvement mindset that results in the evolution of a solution.
