Are a highly-skilled and experienced Human Resources Assistant seeking a long-term position with a growing company? Then you don't want to pass on this opportunity. Daily responsibilities will include handling a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks while providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Major responsibilities
- Assist in new employee on-boarding orientation planning
- Oversee office and administrative tasks
- Manage employee database records
- Use the internet to search for potential customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
- Approachable and appropriate interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment
- Solid understanding of HR (Human Resources)
- Proficiency in benefits coordination
- Experience with recruiting
- Prior experience with succession planning
- Personnel file maintenance experience highly valued
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR compliance
- Comprehension of performance reviews
- Background working with Onboarding
- Human Resources (HR) Administration experience
- Hands-on experience with strategic planning
- General familiarity with HR Policy
- Adeptness in external communication
- Practical knowledge of internal communications
- Previous experience working with performance management
- Benefits administration experience preferred
- Interviewing experience highly preferred
- Good understanding of pension administration
- Earlier work involving new employee orientation
- Experience with employee relations
- HR related experience desired
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
- Familiar with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
