Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President, Business Development helps to form and execute long-term strategies for this dynamic, fast-growing group of companies. The VP has overall responsibility for major counterparty relationships of the company: notably large suppliers, banks, prospective investors, customers and governments, and over the next two years will take each of the companies into new banking and private equity funding, and has wide authority to ensure the company is ready for an eventual IPO in Canada or China.

Provide C-Level team with financial implications of different strategies, initiatives, acquisitions, and expansions.
To succeed in this role, you have to have extensive experience with data analysis and forecasting methods.
Have at least ten years of management experience, including overall responsibility for financial planning and
Demonstrated history of raising equity capital and acting as the primary banking contact in companies.
You should also be able to speak and read Mandarin as you will have to attend roadshows in China.
Willingness to travel 25% of the time is essential for the role.
