Job Description
We are currently looking to hire a Software Developer to join our existing team that are part of large contract with the Department of National Defence. You would need to have a valid secret level clearance. They are providing simulation development services.
Duties will include:
- Developing software using C++ and Java
- Working with Image Generation and display systems. (modeling and simulation environment)
- Must have a demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft and Unix/Linux operating systems
- 3D Modeling experience a strong asset.
- Must be able to demonstrate at least 5 years as a Software Developer or Software Engineer
- It would be ideal if you have:
- 3 years in the past 5 years designing, coding and testing C++ and Java programming in a modeling and simulation environment.
- 4 years in the past 10 years working in a Microsoft and Unix or Linux operating system environment.
- 2 years in the past 5 years developing HLA compliant simulation systems.
- 4 years in the past 10 years working with Image Generation and Display Systems.
Additional Information
- The following experience would be considered a strong asset:
- A Bachelor's Degree or better in Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or Math, with Modeling and Simulation courses.
- Actively working towards a CMSP (Certified Modeling and Simulation Profession) Certificate or an equivalent.
