Overview

K+S Windsor Salt Ltd is involved in the mining, refining and distribution of salt products and is currently seeking applicants for a Machine Repairperson at the Ojibway Mine in Windsor, Ontario.

Responsibilities

This is a permanent position in our Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities
include safe repair, assembly, or rebuilding of machinery and equipment, and working well in a team environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have a minimum 3-5 years working in a mining, quarrying or construction environment with equipment such as Frontend Loader, Excavator, Forklift, conveyor belts, screens and crushers. 
 
The successful candidate must be a mechanically-inclined, comfortable troubleshooting processing equipment in a fast-paced environment, be a safety-conscious team player and able to work a rotating shift schedule.
 

Qualifications
include:
- Truck and Coach Technician (310T)
- Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certificate (421A) would be considered an asset
- Experience with Technological applications for equipment diagnostics
