As a Senior Regional Director in this strategically important leadership role, you will be accountable for creating an environment in our Ottawa and Kingston Home Health operations that exemplifies CBI values. Building, leading and motivating a talent-rich team, you will drive engagement and quality, and actively seek opportunities for business development to ensure that performance results in year-on-year growth. Ultimately, we will count on you to ensure a collective focus on delivering excellent service that improves the health and enriches the lives of those we serve.  Reporting to the VP Operations, Eastern Canada, you will join a group of peers across Ontario who mutually support each other’s’ success.

  • Create an environment that aligns with CBI’s purpose and values, drawing and retaining high-performing talent that naturally lives the values of the organization
  • Lead by example, coaching, mentoring and supporting the growth and development of leaders and future leaders within the region, and ensuring career paths and leadership development are tangible and attainable for high performers
  • Ensure all team members understand their key accountabilities and perform to the expected level
  • Ensure resources are aligned with the organizational structure and meet business needs
  • Foster and deepen relationships with existing business partners and stakeholders to increase volume with existing services and to identify gaps that create new service delivery opportunities
  • Proactively liaise with other business partners in Operations, Human Resources, IT, Marketing, Finance, Quality and Risk
  • Share best practices and participate in provincial or national collaborative initiatives
  • Deploy mechanisms to promote and demonstrate accountability and related action planning for quality and financial results
  • Monitor and manage local risk and quality activities, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

  • Hold an undergraduate degree in Health, Business or Health Administration;
  • Postgraduate education such as an MBA or advanced university/executive training considered an asset
  • Bring 8 to 10 years’ experience in a general management role in a service-focused organization, ideally with experience in a senior management role
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead teams and individuals to achieve results
  • Be experienced in clinical program and financial management
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferably, have strong knowledge of the health care system, and experience in home and community care
  • Be comfortable interacting with senior level stakeholders within partner organizations
  • Combine a demonstrated patient-centred focus with a commitment to providing quality care.
