Role Summary

The Operations/Production Coordinator is responsible for undertaking a range of administration tasks in support of the operations team. The role involves a high level of co-ordination and data processing and interaction with department leaders

Key Responsibilities

•    Prepare RYG report on a weekly basis (production)
•    Prepare labor efficiency reports on a weekly basis
•    Update monthly KPI’s for production (OEE, Scrap, Rework / Containment costs)
•    Energy (Electricity, Gas, Water Charts for 2 locations
•    Update weekly electricity charts (parts/ KWH) and post them in the training room
•    Monthly productivity and Efficiency reporting for the Cosma Ops file
•    Collect and review ee suggestions, log suggestions and review with Manager on a weekly basis
•    Forward suggestions to champions and follow up on implementation status (track the activity)
•    Update the global energy project list on a monthly basis with input from maintenance
•    Maintain Fast Response tracker and file supporting evidence
•    Pull monthly Andon call data and publish it by line?
•    Maintain open issue list from the ops team
•    Keep production meeting minutes
•    Maintain standardized work audit tracker on a weekly basis
•    Maintain KPI for 5S audit results
•    Maintain plant area boards
•    Keep meeting minutes for the energy team
•    Supporting and participating in shop floor Kaizen activities
•    Supports IATF 16949 / IATF / MAFACT documents for production department
•    Update and maintain all other production department documentations as assigned 
•    Assists with updating plant production boards on a weekly basis
•    Create training material / documents

Key Qualifications/Requirements

•    Grade 12 or equivalent
•    Must be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English
•    Able to work effectively within a team environment.
•    Able to be flexible in hours of work in order to meet internal/external requirements (scheduled and non-scheduled overtime shifts, etc.)
•    Must be able to relate / communicate well with people at all levels 
•    Must be dependable
•    Excellent PC Knowledge
•    Advanced Excel Knowledge
•   Must have good organizational skills, be a self-starter and a team player
