Procom Bilingual Client Services Associate (French & English) - Remote

The Opportunity:

Procom is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Bilingual Client Services Associate.  Procom is one of North America’s leading staffing and contract workforce services providers. Location: Remote (Anywhere in Canada)
Must be Bilingual in French/English

This role provides the opportunity to:

  • Work in a collaborative team environment that focuses on taking ownership of individual tasks within Procom’s on-boarding, active contract management and off-boarding process.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take accountability for and assist with a variety of consultant and client administrative procedures to support the contractor onboarding and active contractor management processes
  • Interact regularly with Consultant and Client stakeholders in a warm, courteous and professional manner
  • Understand, adhere to and ensure compliance to Procom’s business processes, rules and guidelines

Onboarding Responsibilities

  • Perform various steps in the onboarding process, including but not limited to:
  • Create and review Consultant and Client paperwork (contracts, client agreements, etc.)
  • Coordinate and maintain contractor and client electronic files and records
  • Complete reference and employment verification checks
  • Administer background checks as required

Consultant Services

  • Schedule communications to contractors with regards to payment processing, timesheet submission deadlines, extensions, terminations and general client policies
  • Receive, investigate and resolve consultant questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner (invoices, extensions, payroll, etc.)
  • Coordinate and maintain contractor and client electronic files and records
  • Review Consultant expense claims for accuracy and compliance within client specific requirements
  • Administer Consultant document requests, such as Record of Employment and Engagement Verification letters

Transaction Oversight

  • Monitor and co-ordinate payroll feeds and exception lists with accounting department - responsible for ensuring consultants are paid in a timely manner
  • Work with consultants on any payroll questions and concerns and work with accounting to resolve these issues
  • Liaison with Accounting department to manage A/R & A/P ledger issues
  • Create, update and maintain a variety of internal and/or external reports and monitor for potential issues

End of Contract

  • Monitor and support ‘end of contract’ activities, such as process consultant renewals, preparing contract expiry notifications and recording contract terminations in the contract management system


  • Translation from English to French documentation, email templates, and forms
  • Assist as needed on any special projects
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time which are compatible with the position

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Fluent in both English and French languages
  • Entry level up to 2 years experience in a customer service and/or sales support role
  • Demonstrated capability to learn and fully manage typical administrative tasks on an independent basis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information
  • Dedicated team player with excellent interpersonal skills who is willing to assist other team members as needed
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of contractor legal statuses an asset (Incorporated, Sole Proprietorship and Temporary Workers)
  • Previous knowledge of contract and payroll administration procedures, tax regulations, and invoicing processes an asset
