Agilus is currently looking for individuals to work with our client who one of the world's leading companies in biological control of pests and diseases & natural pollination. This opportunity is located in the Leamington area and is a full-time position with immediate starts available!
In this position you would learn about the insect rearing & maintenance. The future is moving toward sophisticated, natural methods of crop management. You will truly be a part of the future in this role!
Job Duties:
Focus is on prep work – make brood boxes, tubes, and bucketsRepetitive – punching holes, taping, and labelingRequires attention to detail and accuracyStanding, sitting, moving between workstations, repetitive lifting and reaching, and hand movementsCleaning and setup for commercial bees – dump sugar trays, clean carts, setup sugar trays and line carts, emptying freezersRepetitive – reaching, lifting, bending, standing, moving between workstations, up and down short ladder
Minimum Job Requirements:
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
• Ability to work in warm (25C) production rooms as well as fridges (5C).
• Ability to follow directions and to take pride in completing high-quality work
• Must have own transport
- Safety shoes required!
• NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Location: Leamington, Ontario
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm (overtime and weekend work may be required)
