Career Opportunity – Technology Consultant

We are searching for a technology consultant to join our team that will play a customer facing role in delivery of software implementation projects. This role will also help drive sales, acting as a SME supporting our global sales team through the entire sales process lifecycle. You will also be responsible for capturing and documenting our overall solution proposal, leading and facilitating solution workshops, delivering product and risk methodology training, and managing the project implementation and coordination for new and existing software customers. Specific responsibilities listed below:


Train new and existing customers on our methodology and our suite of software solutions Document overall solution design, data flow and architecture diagrams, interfaces and implementation plan Provide expertise on our suite of software products, risk methodology, data governance and solution architecture, driving sales enablement that supports our global sales team through the entire sales process lifecycle Design and facilitate solution workshops for new and existing customers Project management, team coordination and oversight for new software implementations Engage directly with the sales team to help customers understand our value, differentiate solutions and resolve technical and business challenges throughout the sales cycle Seek to understand the customer's business environment and process gaps that can be addressed by our solutions Active participant in the development and execution of strategic technical account plans with sales team Develops and delivers compelling custom demonstrations to highlight product value to potential customers (in person and/or remote via Skype) Solution proposal development and RFP support Build new sales enablement tools and build new content to provide sales people with what they need to successfully engage the buyer throughout the buying process Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related project tasks as needed


Software pre-sales experience. Highly capable of solution selling. Experience implementing software solutions for externally facing customers. Experience with project management, team coordination and building software implementation plans. Ability to demonstrate software products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge. Strong capability to create sales presentation messages, positioning statements and other sales collateral. Experience designing and delivering customer workshops. Experience creating software solution documents, including data flow and architecture diagrams. Self-starter, proactive and comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts and data governance models Extensive use of SQL and RDBMS systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc...). Proficient in applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Excel. Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large, senior groups. Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Superior communication skills for effective face-to-face, phone and virtual communication/presentations. Willingness to travel.
