The Opportunity

iTMethods is seeking an exceptional inside salesperson to join our growing team. This Account Executive role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in B2B solution sales, be part of a dynamic culture, and make an impact on an expanding team!

About the Role

Reporting to Chief Revenue Officer, the Account Executive’s primary responsibilities are new business development and day-to-day support of existing customer relationships. The position is based in Toronto and the selected candidate will have the ability to initially work in a remote, home office for the remainder of 2020. 

Expectations for the Successful Candidate Include:

  • A natural hunter, someone who is tenacious at opening doors and obtaining in person and virtual, web-based appointments.
  • Commitment to Customer Success, supporting the growth and continued renewal of our client relationships.  
  • Self-motivated and persistent in completing the daily tasks required to uncover and nurture leads, manage day-to-day client requests, and close sales.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills. You have a good attention to detail and numbers. You also have ability to manage your day-to-day business in CRM.
  • Use of question based or solution selling principles to understand and identify customer requirements.
  • Ability to create and present complex products in a simple and compelling way (both written and verbally). Includes ability to communicate well with both technical, IT contacts and business leads.   
  • Commitment to continuous learning. Including personal growth in B2B solution sales and in the field of DevOps.

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum 3 years selling B2B sales with proven track record of exceeding quota.  
  • Experience selling web-based enterprise SaaS, particularly in the field of DevOps or AWS-related services, is a plus.
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Technical aptitude. You are advanced at MS Office. Ideally, you have been exposed to collaboration tools such as Jira, Slack, Salesforce and Confluence, or similar technologies in the past. 
  • Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Solution selling expertise.  
  • Ability to occasionally travel across North America.  
  • Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment.
