Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform daily customer service function as per client's needs.
• Monitor and coordination of shipments including communication with overseas offices, pick up, delivery of goods; freight monitoring, documentation, insurance and accounting.
• Advise customers regarding air and ground freight export procedures, international regulations.
• Obtain and produce all pertinent information
• Organize transport and documentation with carriers.
• Produce accurate information and documentation on time.
• Develop business relations and follow up with customers and partners (ex: carriers).
• Ensure the Company closes all files within the set time frame establish.
• Participate in improving quality and processes.

Job key success factors:
• Number of transactions and profit per transaction, accurate and timely data entry and information processing, accurate and timely costing and billing for closing of files, and full compliance of all department processes and requirements to improve clients’ satisfaction.

• College degree in Logistics and transportation and/or 1 to 2 years of experience in the transportation field.
• Any transportation courses (Ciffa, CITT, etc.) will be an asset

Tâches et responsabilités:
• Accomplir quotidiennement la fonction du service à la clientèle selon les besoins des clients, incluant des conseils concernant les écarts et la conformité.
• Coordonner et assurer le suivi des expéditions incluant réservation, cueillette et livraison de marchandises, suivi du transport, documentation, assurance et comptabilité.
• Conseiller les clients sur les procédures de transport export aérien et routier, les règlements internationaux.
• Obtenir et produire toute l'information pertinente (outre-mer, consulats, agences gouvernementales, etc.
• Organiser le transport et la documentation avec les transporteurs.
• Produire une information exacte et la documentation à temps.
• Développer des relations d’affaires et assurer un suivi avec les clients et les partenaires (ex: transporteurs).
• S'assurer que tous les dossiers sont fermés à l'intérieur des délais établis par la compagnie.
• Participer à l’amélioration de la qualité et des processus.

Critères de performance:
• Nombre d’expéditions et de profit par transaction
• Pas d’erreur dans l’entrée de données et le traitement de l’information
• Évaluation des coûts et facturations précises dans un délai raisonnable pour la fermeture des dossiers
• Toutes les opérations du département et ses exigences doivent être traitées dans le but d’améliorer la satisfaction des clients.

• Diplôme d’études collégiales en logistique de transport et/ou 1à 2 ans d’expérience dans le domaine du transport
• Cours spécialisés en transport (CIFFA, CITT, etc.) un atout important
