Position Summary

As a Finance Administrator, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. This is a hybrid role with the need to be in the Health Centre two to three times weekly. What you'll be doing

• Responsible for all AR functions for Homewood Health Inc's inpatient and outpatient facilities including invoicing, processing payments, payment applications and collections.
• Coordinate the collection of financial information and make payment arrangements with patients
• Provide customer receipts and handle any billing inquiries
• Prepare journal entries to ensure revenue is assigned to correct accounting period
• Prepare and complete daily documentation for physician billing
• Submit monthly medical billings to MSP
• Reconcile submissions with payments and problem-solve any rejections
• Prepare bi-weekly bank deposits
• Print and mail weekly cheques required by Accounts Payable
• Prepare and calculate broker commissions.
• Support other administration roles as required

What we're looking for

• Completion of a post-secondary education in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Two+ years of accounts receivable and accounting experience
• Strong accounting skills and knowledge of finance and administration
• Ability to utilize computerized accounting systems
• Ability to organize and prioritize the work assignments in order to meet objectives and deadlines
• Ability to prepare reports on various administrative, financial and/or operational matters
• Detail oriented with superior skills working with numbers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools, i.e., Excel, Word
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
