The Role

Policaro Group is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. As our technician, your primary responsibility will be conducting vehicle maintenance and repairs in alignment with both dealership guidelines and manufacturer’s standards.

In this hands-on role, you will be vital to ensuring the exceptional quality of our vehicles, and in turn, the satisfaction of our customers. Your technical proficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the high standards we uphold at Policaro Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair and complete approved service on customer vehicles as described in work orders and the mechanical inspection.
• Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly.
• Perform basic care and maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations.
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings.
• Disassemble and reassemble parts.
• Document work performed.
• Supervise work of any assigned Apprentice Mechanics.

The Person

• Proven experience as an automotive technician with a strong understanding of automotive systems and functionalities.
• Experience in basic vehicle care and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations.
• Attention to detail to follow checklists, ensuring that all critical parts are examined.
