Looking for


•        A minimum four (4) years of in a relevant engineering field orequivalent

•        University graduate in applied science or engineering

•        Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or ProfessionalGeoscientist (P.Geo.)

•        preferencefor Electrical or Systems Engineer.

Essential Experience / Skills

•        Supporting plant industrialnetworks and device integration related to upgrade projects at generatingstations.

•        Experience with industrial controlsystems, industrial networks, and configuration and integration of intelligentelectronic devices.

•        Knowledge in networkingtechnologies, concepts and architectures.

•        Background in cyber security inOperational technologies is an asset.

•        AutoCAD experience is essential toupdate plant industrial network engineering drawings

Also required

•        Develop safe engineering solutions by using initiative andjudgement to perform activities such as developing designs, analyzing andresolving problems, and interpreting engineering specifications on low tomedium complexity assignments for projects and/or operations.

•        Assist project or operations management to meet safety, cost,quality, and time objectives by performing activities such as proposing changesin plans and estimated costs, recommending payment for work completed bycontractors, preparing progress reports, coordinating work schedules and othersimilar tasks.

•        Participate in company engineering practice by conductingindependent studies and analysis, exercising judgment in selecting andinterpreting information, recommending safe engineering designs, and makingtypical decisions related to standard methods and designs so that company engineeringstandards are maintained.

•        Perform periodic tasks independently which may include on-siteconstruction quality control and monitoring to ensure design compliance.

•        Engage with senior engineering team where engineering problems aredifficult, complex, or unusual to support the management of engineering risk.
