Board Certified Behaviour Analyst – Winnipeg $1000 Sign-on Bonus 

CBI Health Group, Specialized Community Services: Manitoba is a rapidly expanding service and we are pleased to continually add enthusiastic individuals to our ever-expanding team. BCBAs are responsible for working with our front-line staff and Team Leads to implement ABA interventions and adaptive skills programming for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental and behavioural challenges. 

Hours of Work:  Full time opportunity to work : Mondays- Fridays ( 8:30am - 4:30pm) 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, monitor, and supervise an individual support plan and behaviour support plan for each individual, breaking down larger goals into phases of acquisition and create interventions for reduction in challenging behavior.
  • Collaborate with individual, family, support system and an interdisciplinary team to create person-centred support plans 
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and functional analyses as appropriate 
  • Facilitate team meetings with the operations manager and work collaboratively with caregivers and other professionals 
  • Supervise and mentor Team Leads/RBTs and provide formal RBT supervision   
  • Setup electronic/hard copy data collection systems, graph and analyze data for the purposes of decision making and funder requirements
  • Model professional & compassionate care with a focus on least restrictive and positive behaviour supports to empower choice and freedom
  • Coach staff to provide excellent care in line with the Behaviour Support Plan 
  • Evaluate, model, and coach staff in their interactions with individuals while engaging in a variety of programming and implementing behaviour support plans
  • Deliver ongoing training and feedback to Team Leads/RBTs and front-line staff
  • *Uphold CBI policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc.
  • Maintain designation and stay current on best-practice and ethical practice

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Passion for seeing others reach their potential
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning and change management
  • Experience working with an interdisciplinary team
  • Possess a strong knowledge in the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis, the fundamental elements of behaviour change, and ethical professional practice with adults
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or related field * Credentialed as a BCBA®
  • At least two years’ of experience with adults with Dual Diagnosis and severe problem behaviour
  • Experience with using SIB-R, CALS, AFLS, and/or EFL assessment tools is an asset 
  • Experience with conducting functional analyses and functional behaviour assessments 
  • Provide flexibility in work schedule
  • Have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • *Current Clear Vulnerable Security Sector Police Check
