Financial Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, business technology management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a Finance or Accounting role
  • Experience in process improvement, documentation, and/or implementation
  • Proficiency in Workday finance/accounting and procurement modules
  • Proficiency with Adaptive Forecasting Tool
  • Experience with CheckMate
  • Experience in the finance or accounting industry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Job Summary

Edison Financial's Financial Coordinator serves as a key player on the Finance Team through documenting, improving, and implementing various operational processes. This team member also performs other financial and operational tasks, such as financial statement analysis and forecasting, to support the team's success.

Responsibilities 

  • Submit and track Cash Back and Appraisal payments to clients
  • Submit and track referral bonus payments
  • Track Appraisal received from Lenders
  • Perform revenue data entry based on reports sent by lenders, insurance companies, etc.
  • Send revenue transaction detail files to the treasury team
  • Support insurance company payment tracking processes
  • Support the implementation of new processes while improving existing processes
  • Perform weekly Executive Team reporting and updates to the financial forecast
  • Assist team and leader with monthly preparation of financial statements
  • Document processes (accounting, payments, monthly presentations), as needed
