Our client in Delta is hiring for an HR Manager for their busy production facility. Reporting into the Director of HR, the HR Manager leads, collaborates, and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services. The HR Manager establishes and reinforces the policies and procedures for all company personnel within the Canadian operations. Specific responsibilities include hiring, employee relations issues and investigations, training, wage and salary administration, benefits administration, compliance with other statutory requirements, foreign worker program requirements and applications of LMIA and work permit applications and payroll verification. The HR Manager will support and collaborate with key business partners in the Administrative Offices, Production Sites and Distribution Center.


The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager ideally in a large manufacturing company and experience in full cycle recruitment, foreign workers program, policy and procedures, training and facilitation, employee relations and coaching and reporting. The candidate must have a degree in Human Relations and their CPHR designation. Above average technical and software skills is a must, as is strong working knowledge and experience in an HRIS system [ideally UltiPro] and an advanced level of Excel.

This role does supervise one to two people, so experience in a supervisory/leadership position overseeing at least a team of two is essential, and in addition, the candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication both written and verbal, be highly organized and detailed, resourceful, have strong presentation and group facilitation skills, and an excellent ability to build and foster strong relationships across the board. Fluency in Spanish is a definite asset.
