Classification: Help Desk Analyst I
Compensation: $45000.00 to $50000.00 yearly
This job is for someone who excels at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. Robert Half Technology is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment with a company in the Metal Fabrication field. Candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization will be preferred for this Help Desk Analyst position. This Help Desk Analyst role is based in the Stoney Creek, Ontario area and is a full-time opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide IT assistance for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other software applications used internally
- Troubleshoot recurring technical issues and suggest solutions to address the root of the problems
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Reply and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
- Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
- Active Directory experience
- Solid understanding of O 365
- Command of Microsoft Exchange Server
- IT support ticketing system experience desired
- Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
- Firm grasp of basic networking concepts
