Our client is seeking an AWS Certified Cloud Engineer who wants to play a critical role in developing and deploying custom DevOps toolchains for enterprise customers. This is an exciting growth opportunity to further expand your expertise and gain additional certifications as you innovate new solutions, use cutting edge tools, and automate cloud infrastructure hosting DevOps tools using AWS services for an extensive range of clients. 

Who you are

A self-starter with expertise in AWS, coding features, and DevOps, you are excited by the opportunity to quickly come up to speed and jump into internal and external deliverables. You want to step up to the challenge of working across the SDLC on initial architecture and design, migration, development, test, and deployment of DevOps solutions. With outstanding communication skills to collaborate with leadership and a proactive approach, you are a valued contributor to product strategy. You can help guide the work of the team based on previous experience and insights drawn from interpreting critical business and technical metrics.

What’s in it for you:

Challenges. You will utilize infrastructure as Code (laC) to implement full automation and operational support of new or existing customer environments. You will design and document data structures, architecture, and process flows for AWS-based workloads.

Exposure. You will present and share insights and input with leadership on existing and future product roadmaps. You will collaborate and drive continuous improvement with various teams on the development and evolution of technical and architectural roadmaps.

Impact. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert, advising clients and performing evaluations of new technologies and third-party solutions making recommendations on “build versus buy” decisions. You will provide technical expertise for Secure by Design / Compliance-related deployments.

What you bring to the role:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering.
  • AWS certification and hands-on knowledge.
  • Exposure to Azure, and Jenkins.
  • Exceptional communication and problem solving skills.
  • Autonomous drive and a collaborative mindset to solve open-ended business problems.
  • The ability to write code.
  • A passion for automation, efficiency, and DevOps.

This is an opportunity for you to engage in and improve the lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement of innovative DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory and similar products) and cloud workloads.
