Calling all rock stars! We’re on the lookout for our next Bartender (Theatre). Help us discover your talent and have your guest services skills shine bright on center stage!
Ordinary isn’t what we do here at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, so if you are an experienced Bartender who loves to mix up the best drinks while creating legendary memories for our guests, then you are perfect for this role – audition today!
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing the VIP rock star experience for each and every one of our guests by taking orders, preparing drinks, greeting them by name and ensuring ultimate satisfaction
- Working and communicating effectively with all other departments
- Developing and maintaining fantastic relationships with guests and team members
- Presenting the bill upon request and taking payments
- Cleaning your workspace, removing glassware and re-stocking, as applicable
- Performing opening and closing duties, including counting a cash float
- Exercising good judgment when serving alcoholic beverages according to SIR, Smart Serve or IGB
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
- Performing other duties as required
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Legendary guest service skills with a “Make it Happen” attitude
- Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
- A passion for providing Rockin’ It Service to our internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence
- Live HRCV’s Values all day, every day: Respect, Original, Caring, Kickin’ Service, Integrity and No Excuses
- Minimum 1 year of recent bartending experience
- Serving It Right, Smart Serve or IGB certification, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification
- A High School Diploma
- The ability to stand for long periods of time
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
Since the party never stops at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and graveyards. The hours of work will be based on guest and business needs.
