Are you an experienced Software Development Manager who loves coding, but also enjoys coaching and mentoring other members of your dev team? This is a solid software leadership opportunity based in Winnipeg, Manitoba

In this Software Development Manager role, you’ll be working with a team of software developers who are based mostly in the Winnipeg office, with some of your team members also based in other North American and global offices. In other words, your communication and collaboration skills will help you tackle a variety of technical challenges as a team. And not to mention, you’ll still have lots of chances to keep your coding and software design skills sharp, too.

In this role, you’ll work with a variety of open-source tools and technologies. The core legacy application is built primarily with PHP. Over the months ahead, many of the features will be migrated to node.js and react. As you can imagine, you’ll also get a good dose of AWS cloud systems. Needless to say, your software design skills will also be important for making some of the architectural decisions for the future systems.
